David Kicklighter (left), of Kick’s Meats in Nicholls, recently donated 400 pounds of ground venison and pork through the DNR’s Hunters for the Hungry program. The meat will be distributed in Kim’s Food Pantry monthly food boxes as part of the pantry’s mission to alleviate hunger in Bacon County.
