2024 Day of the Child is April 27

Bacon County Family Connection's 29th annual Day of the Child event will be held on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Goldwasser Park in downtown Alma. This free event features, food, games, giveaways, and fun for parents and children.

Christmas Books for Kids delivered to Bacon County Elementary School

Bacon County Family Connection collaborative members Dana Lee with Action Pact, and Brenda Guerrero with GA Work Source, and BCFC Coordinator Laura Crozier delivered 160 wrapped books to each fifth grade student at Bacon County Elementary School as part of the annual Christmas Books for Kids project. This is the fourth year BCFC has spearheaded this giveaway. Books are donated by BCFC and local individuals, businesses, and organizations.
